By using this website, you agree to the following terms. They are short on purpose.

1. About this site. This website provides information about Home Rec, an open-source macOS application by Melissa de Britto, published under The Building Blocks Co. brand.
2. The app is free, open source, and provided "as is". Home Rec is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. The license governs your use of the app and includes — among other things — a disclaimer of warranties and a limitation of liability (sections 7 and 8). The full text is in the LICENSE file of the project repository.
3. You are responsible for legal use. Home Rec is a general-purpose audio capture tool. Recording audio of conversations, calls, broadcasts, or copyrighted material may be restricted by the laws of your jurisdiction — for example, "all-party consent" rules in several U.S. states, German and most EU privacy laws, and similar rules elsewhere. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the app complies with the laws of your location and the rights of any person whose audio you capture.
4. No commercial relationship. Visiting this site, downloading the app, or using it does not create any commercial, agency, employment, or partnership relationship between you and us.
5. Third-party links. This site links to third-party services such as GitHub, Apple, and Buy Me a Coffee. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services. See our Privacy Policy for what each third party processes on our behalf.
6. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL, with the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
